Beer collectible mug from the Budweiser Archives Series, dedicated to the history of Budweiser beer advertising. This series consists of four mugs. In the Anheuser-Busch catalog, their molds are numbered CS169, CS190, CS222 and CS252.
This is the second in a series of four Budweiser Archives mugs. This item is a Budweiser collectible beer mug from the Archives Series called Ganymede. It was released in 1993.  The mug depicts a bald eagle hovering with Ganymede and a Budweiser bottle in its talons. The plot is based on the Greek myth of Ganymede, whom Zeus carried off to Olympus in the form of an eagle to make a cupbearer on Olympus.
The inscription on the scroll reads: "Declared superior to the best Bohemian beer by the Imperial Experimental Station of the Brewing Industry, Prague, December 1, 1903."
