Beer collectible mug from the Budweiser Archives Series, dedicated to the history of Budweiser beer advertising. This series consists of four mugs. In the Anheuser-Busch catalog, their molds are numbered CS169, CS190, CS222 and CS252. This mug is the third in a series of four Budweiser Archives mugs. The mug was released in 1994 and it was dedicated to the advertising slogan "Budweiser's Greatest Triumph". This is the name of an old advertising lithograph that was made in 1903.
Title The Greatest Triumph was created in honor of winning a lawsuit against a Czech brewer who challenged Anheuser-Busch's right to use the word Budweiser. On the side of the mug it says that the beer "Declared superior the best Bohemian Beers by the Imperial Experiment Station for the Brewing Industries, Prague. December 1st 1903" (Declared the best of the Bohemian beers by the Imperial Experimental Station of the Brewing Industry, Prague. December 1, 1903).
