Beer collectible mug from the Budweiser Archives Series, dedicated to the history of Budweiser beer advertising. This series consists of four mugs. In the Anheuser-Busch catalog, their molds are numbered CS169, CS190, CS222 and CS252.
This is the fourth in a series of four Budweiser Archives mugs. The mug was made in 1995 in a limited edition. The mug is called "Mirror of Truth". The mug has a unique embossed design and a tin lid with an image of a girl.
The image design is based on a 1907 lithograph commissioned by Anheuser-Busch to advertise pasteurized Budweiser beer. It depicts a virtuous virgin (the personification of Truth) shining a mirror on a beer bottle, emphasizing its purity.
