Translations:
Top - "Dedicated by your friend Paul"
Center - "God bless mining" (or God bless the mining industry) / Good Luck and the initials "L.F.".
Shield Left of Center - "After the hard work of the day, one should love oneself and be strong." There is also a reference to paragraph 11 of the beer code which commands you to "keep on drinking".
Ribbon Top left of Center - "A good drink makes masters and journeymen young."
Ribbon Bottom Left of Center - "Drink happily. Pay honestly."
Shield Right of Center - According to old custom, in the midst of thirst, come! Drink away all your worries."
Ribbon Top Right of Center - "Better to have your intestines twisted than give it to your host." This is probably a variation of the well-known proverb "Better a stomach twist than a gift to the host." It means that you'd rather eat everything you ordered than leave anything behind. It's a humorous expression for not wanting to waste value on the food, since you paid for it.
Ribbon Bottom Right of Center - "Malt and hops make good drops."
