Open 5 ring hinge c.1895-
Porcelain body, hand painted cobalt blue floral designs with red and gold accents.
Matching porcelain inlaid lid.
The thumb lift is a man raising his stein and hat, possibly in celebration.
The stein may have been an award for a shooting competition or event. Painted on the under side of the lid is "Anschiessen 1905", which appears to translate to Shooting 1905.
The base mark is attributed to Eduard Liebmann Porzellanfabrik of Schney bei Lichtenfels, Bavaria. [link]
