Catalog #574, the name of the mug in the catalog is "Flirting Scene in a Tavern".
This large beer mug with a capacity of 2 liters was made by the Marzi & Remy manufactory. The mug is made using a complex and expensive etching technique. The size of the mug adds to its uniqueness and value. The design of the mug's surface was created by Gustav Thinwibel, a renowned artist of his time. Gustav Thinwibel was invited by the Marzi & Remy factory to come to Hör in 1879 to design the mug. It follows that the mug could have been made after 1879.

The content of the central part of the drawing is devoted to the theme of hunters' rest in a tavern. To the left and right of the handle, the mug is decorated with floral ornaments with the inscription "Trinken und Jagen, Singen und Scherzen,
lindert alles Leid und Schmerzen". Translated from German, this means "Drinking and hunting, singing and joking - all this alleviates suffering and pain". See the link: [link]
The mug has a massive, ornate lid. The thumb-operated lever of the lifting device is designed as a figurine of a mythical creature. The inside of the lid bears the stamp REICHSZINN M&R. Translated from German, this means "Imperial tin for Marzi & Remy," essentially a standard of state-level quality.
