The "Medieval Artisans" mug. This souvenir beer mug was released in 2007 by the German manufacturer KING-WERK. The mug has a capacity of 2 liters and a height of 32 cm.
The mug was released specifically for collectors in a limited edition of 2,500 pieces. Each mug has a unique number and comes with a special certificate. This mug has the number 257, and there is no other mug with the same number. This adds to its collectible value.
The mug itself is made in the form of a reproduction of an older analogue, which was developed back in 1895 by the legendary designer Gustav Thinwibbel.
Gustav Tinwiebel was born in Berlin in 1853. In 1879, he came to Kher specifically to create models for the Marzi & Remy manufactory. He died in 1933.
The original mug was made for Marzi & Remy in 1895. It featured three professions: a shoemaker, a stonemason, and a tailor.
