An antique shaped German mug with a capacity of 0.5 liters was made in 1880 at the S.P. Gerz factory. In the product catalog of the S.P. Gerz factory, the mold of this mug is contained under the number 305. In the same place, the name "Jester with Beer and radish" (Jester with Beer and Radish) was assigned to her.
Relief details and inscriptions in German are visible on the mug's body: "Bock mit Rettig". The literal translation means "Goat with radish". However, when the word Bock was mentioned in the context of beer consumption, it was about a special kind of dark strong beer Bockbier. Radishes have long been used by the inhabitants of the Bavarian Alps as a traditional beer snack. With this in mind, the inscription should be understood as "Dark strong beer with radish".
