1/2 liter, porcelain, Cold War Stein named to Vern Huffman, HQ HQ & SVC Co 7743 AU, Chinon, France, 1956. The central scene is the unit’s shoulder patch. The right side scene is of Chinon and the left is of the Le Pavillon de L’Horloge. The finial is the Engineer castle. The Chinon Engineer Depot was established in 1951, originally as a sub-depot of the Rhine Engineer Depot, Kaiserslautern, Germany, but by 1953 had been elevated to a Class I installation assigned to Poitiers District.
