"Munich Child" Marzi & Remy

Marzi & Remy - mold 5162

From the collection of Paulo Vik Falcon

This antique figurative mug in the form of "Munich child" was made by the Marzi & Remy manufactory approximately in 1900-1905. In the Marzi & Remy catalog, the shape of this mug has the number 5162. The mug is executed in the volume of 1/2 liter.
It is important to note that unlike many analogues, here in the left hand of the child holds the Bible, and not radish, which was popular among the monks as a beer snack. In this case, the image of the boy is completely identical to the coat of arms of Munich. The only difference is that in the coat of arms of Munich, the child's arms are spread out with a mug and a Bible.
