A beautiful and old Mettlach 1L Stoneware Masskrug/Maßkrug with pewter inlay lid. Custom made deer horn antler thumblift. The pewter lid has a porcelain inlay with a beautifully designed stag and doe in the forest. The owner's initials are on the rim. The strap is tight and the tang is firmly affixed to the lid. The body is in fine condition and very clean. The body of the stein is a nice cream color, not reflected in pictures due to light.
