Brauerei zum Münchner Kindl Steinkrug

From the collection of Jorge O. Soriano

Brauerei zum Münchner Kindl Steinkrug. The letters “BMK” are on the side of the beer barrel. NOTE: POOR QUALITY PICTURES DISTORT TRUE COLORS

Amazing pewter lid with brewery logo

0,4L and calibration mark incised on side

Shadow is making stein appear darker in spots. The entire stein has an even cream coloring and has aged beautifully

The letters “MUN” can still be seen from the original word “MUNCHEN”

Clearly visible “PAUSON”

An unidentified mark on base?

Note from original owner left inside stein - 1905

Original Owner’s Description:

“Bierkrug Brauerei zum Münchner Kindl mit Zinndeckel 0,4 L (1905 Geschlossen)”

“Der Münchner Kindl ist ein Top Krug” Translated: “This Münchner Kindl stein is Tops!”
I’ll take that to mean: Highly desirable and collectible!

I always welcome your feedback and shared knowledge. Right now, I’m just trying to get my collection onto mysteincollection.com and I’ll circle back later for the research.
