Till Eulenspiegel-Merry Prankster

From the collection of Mike Finn

(Philipp) Rosenthal Porcelain 1891-1997, this stein is about 5-1/2" tall. No mold number or Capacity mark, Germany is on the base and under the pewter lid in the logo. 1975 Rosenthal made a series of six different scenes painted of Till Eulenspiegel - The Merry Prankster, drawn artist Bjorn Wiinbald of Copenhagen. The earliest known complete addition of Eulenspiegel's adventures was written by an unknown author who used the pen name "N". There were 95 original episodes published in 1515. These pictures are from episode 3&4. I like this stein because the body and lid flow together.
