Obviously a trophy stein for a volleyball championship in Mainz in 1956. The lid is yet another casulty of shipping. The centrall image is flanked with the same insignia for the 2nd Armored Division Bulldogs. This is not the 2nd AD's insignia (see photo), nor can I find any reference to them as Bulldogs.
