Franziskaner Leist-Bräu merged with Spaten Brauerei in 1922.
Monk logo trademarked in 1909, logo redesigned to present day monk logo by Ludwig Holden in 1935.
Pauson mark on lid shank for Martin Pauson (pewterer) c1884-1938.
Text on underside of lid:
"May only be used to serve Munich Franziskaner Leist-Bräu"
