0.25L lidded stein depicting a hunter stalking Elk (Red Deer) in woods near a stream; with the single word "Weidmannsheil!" in a banner across the bottom bracketed on either side by two birds in flight.
Pewter lid is a bright 'crome' inside and out, with a closed three ring hinge. Thumb lift is oposite the hinge of the lid.

I am looking for known dates the pearlescent glaze was used that you see at the top and bottom of this stein. I believe a study of the paints and glazes used will help date some of my steins. The earliest I have seen it used claimed to be c1920 ~ Brandon Boyd (the seller)
