Replica of an art nouveau stein, styled by Richard Riemerschmid for Merkelbach 1906. Salt glazed stein in Cologne brown and dark blue color with Latin inscription from an old student song: Gaudeamus Igitur... iuvenes dum sumus (freuen wir uns also, solange wir jung sind, if we are glad, as long as we are young). Base marks from Merkelbach Manufaktur circa 1980, mold 2026.
