art nouveau stein styled by Carl Moos for Merkelbach & Wick approx. 1920. Light grey stein, glazed and with a decoration on the front like a transfer print and the saying: Alter schützt vor Torheit nicht! (Age don´t protect for stupidity!) Stylt pewter lid with ornaments and the word Prosit (cheers). Base mark from 1912.
