Collectible porcelain beer mug "Emperor Maximilian I" (Maximilian the Knight Character Stein). This model became the first in the exclusive series of the WW Team - Bierkrüge & Geschenke G.m.b.H. dedicated to the great personalities of the European Middle Ages. The capacity of the mug is about 1 liter, the height is 32 cm. The mug was released in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces. This mug has its own unique number 515.
The mug has the shape of a bust of the German Emperor Maximilian I, depicted as a knight.
King Maximilian I, the last of the German knights (March 22, 1459 — January 12, 1519), held the titles of Archduke of Austria, German King and Holy Roman Emperor. Maximilian I became the founder of an influential family that went down in world history as the Habsburg dynasty, one of the dominant in Europe. He significantly expanded the Austrian territory, secured control over the Netherlands through his own marriage, Hungary and Bohemia by treaty and military pressure, as well as Spain and the Spanish Empire through the marriage of his son Philip. He fought a number of wars against the French. The hand—painted porcelain case depicts a knight's armor with the ancient German coat of arms of the Kaiser - a double-headed eagle — on the knight's shield. A stainless steel helmet with brass ornaments and a movable visor is mounted on the tin lid. The handle of the mug is made in the form of an axe. A detailed tin sword is inserted into Maximilian's right hand, completing the design. It's a big, very impressive thing. Superdetalization.
