Collectible figured mug made of porcelain "Budweiser Frog". The height is 25 cm, the capacity is about 1 liter. The mug was made in 1997 by order of the American brewing company Anheuser-Busch for members of its "Club of beer Mug collectors" in a limited edition of 10 thousand pieces. This particular mug has been assigned the number 3857. In the catalog of Anheuser-Busch mugs, the molel of this mug has the number CS301.
The mugs of this model were made in Germany at the Albert Stahl & Co. porcelain factory. in collaboration with another German factory Porzellanmanufactur und Krugwerkstätte Thüringen (PKT).
The mug is made in the form of a cartoon frog, which became famous thanks to a television advertisement for Budweiser beer in the 90s. The frog is depicted wearing sunglasses, a cap worn backwards, and tall blue sneakers. The frog holds a bottle of Budweiser beer in his paw. The frog cap serves not only as an ornament. The visor is used as a lever to open the lid.
In general, the mug model contains nine separately created components. This greatly complicated its assembly and increased its value, and with it its collectible value.
