Faience Steinkrug.
Nice floral design on this faience style steinkrug. The really cool thing about it is the lid. Instead of flipping up, it rotates to either side. Intricate artwork on both the pewter lid and the foot ring around the base. I don’t think I have ever seen another one, at least not a very old one of this style, with the rotating lid concept.

I always welcome any additional information. For example its age, maker, designer, history, especially concerning the lid concept.
