Collectible ceramic embossed beer mug "Seeing off the 2nd millennium". It is also known as "Millennium 2000". Nevertheless, given the design of the mug, it would be more appropriate to call it the "Wires of the 2nd millennium." The dynamics of the escape of 2000 can be seen in the central drawing of the circle. Here, the previous years, against the backdrop of a constantly rotating globe, are carried away into the depths of history and gradually lost there. The two side surfaces of the mug are decorated with a chronicle of the events of the past XX century. Every year here is marked by its own event. Thus, on the left we see the chronicle from 1900 to 1950, on the right - from 1951 to 1999. A ribbon with the dates of the centuries of the entire second millennium encircles the top of the mug in several turns. The handle of the mug is made in the shape of the number "2" with three zeros on the lower crossbar. Visually, the number "2000" is obtained.
The lid is decorated in the form of a starry sky, embodying the infinity of space. The lever of the lifting mechanism of the lid is crowned by a metal figurative composition of the Globe surrounded by the Sun and Moon. The composition of celestial bodies emphasizes the eternity of the universe, against which the thousand-year history of human civilization is only a fleeting moment.
The capacity of the mug is 1 liter, the height is 27 cm. The mug was made in 1999 in Germany at the ceramic factory WW Team - Bierkrüge & Geschenke GmbH in a limited edition of 2000 copies. Each mug of this issue was assigned an individual number. This particular mug received the number 1954. There is no other such thing. Information about this is reflected in the manufacturer's stamp, which is located on the outer surface of the bottom.
