Collectible commemorative beer mug made of porcelain "Stuttgart Fire Society". The mug was made in 1996 in a limited edition as part of "Jahrestrug 1996". This is an annual commemorative issue commissioned by the Stuttgart Fire Society (Feuerwehrverein Stuttgart e.V.). This mug was made at the factory Porzellanmanufaktur Schwemmlein GmbH.
Company W. Schwemmlein GmbH was founded in 1946 by Wilhelm Schwemmlein in the Bavarian city of Bayreuth. She specializes in the production of porcelain, awards and souvenirs for various organizations, clubs, military units and fire services. Their products are often handmade and fired at temperatures around 800 ° C for durability of the decor.
Such items are collectible, especially for those who are interested in the history of fire services (faleristics and related paraphernalia). Being a limited edition for a specific society (Feuerwehrverein Stuttgart e.V.), the item is rarer than mass-produced porcelain.
