Whites of Utica New York USA made steins and mugs 1885-1907, this straight sided mug is about 4-1/2" tall. Whites never had capacity marks or mold numbers. But usually had a number on the bottom that had something to do with the size of the mug minus the lid. Although this one doesn't have a number I have seem identical mugs with #27 on the base. This Schlitz brewery stein is just one of many breweries that had Whites make advertising steins for. The brewery steins with pewter lids are much more rare.
