Albert Jacob Thewalt made steins 1897-2009, this "Sailor" stein is about 7" tall. It has a Thewalt logo and Western Germany on the base. No capacity mark or mold number, but it is #9006 in the Beer Stein Library. This stein was made 1949-1989. This is a reproduction of an early 20th century figural stein numbered 1821. It is currently unknown who manufactured the earlier version, but it was a little large than the reproduction.
