"Gegen Bier und Tabackdunst ist alle Weiberlust umsonst" is the phrase on the front panel of this antique beer stein. One could translate it as "All lust for women is no match for beer and the smell of tobacco."..

The stoneware stein is not marked but has all the characteristics of the company Dümler & Breiden. It will date to circa 1880~1900.

It has a capacity of a half liter.
