Model 543, Reinhold Merkelbach
A 1/2 liter stein by Reinhold Merkelbach with a musical scene: a harp and some music on paper. Marked 543, D and the Merkelbach star.
The base is hollow. This model was designed in the 1880-1900 era. The stein was produced in several color variations, for instance a traditional blue/gray version, and the pictured 'Elfenbeinsteinzeug' variant.
This mold number has also been used on another stein.
