Mold 807 by Simon Peter Gerz, base markings
A 'Flachkanne' (flat jug) produced by Simon Peter Gerz in the 1880 ~ 1910 era. The jug is marked 807B on the base. 807 being the mold number, and the letter B indicating there are different variations of this same mold.
The center of the decoration is the German Imperial Eagle (Reichsadler). It is surrounded by 6 coats of arms and the saying "Für Kaiser und Reich mit Gott" (For emperor and empire with God).
The German Empire existed from 1871 until 1918 [link]
