Cold War Stein

From the collection of Randy Satterfield

There's not much information available on th 887th.The stein has "887th Field Artillery Battalion" around the top. On the right side is the patch of the 887th. A banner circling the stein has the following: Hohenfels, Grafenwohr, Baumholder, and Wurzburhg. These are presumabnly locations of the Battalion. On the lower part of the banner is Robert Bafundo, presumably the soldier to whom the stein is named. Below his name is S-2 Hqs Btry, presumably a headquarters battery. Around dthe base of the stein is: Schwabisch Hall, 1952 - 1953, Germany. The stein is missing its finial.
