Pictoral stein with pewter lid; Echardt and Engler make, mold number 36.
De decoration shows 3 people seated at a table: male left plays guitar, male center smokes a pipe, female right rests arm on table. No standing figures. German phrases to each side of handle. Capacity mark outer top rim: 0,25L.
This is an example of a massproduced stein, mainly aimed at the tourist industry in Germany. Souvenir shops all over the country sell this type of steins. They were not made to actually use, but mostly as a decorative item.
