Verses on the body reads:
"Sei froehlich und gerecht"
"Lass ab von der Liebe, sie ist dir nicht gesund."
"Vater Noah habe Dank fuer den edlen Rebentrank."
"Alles vergeht, nur tugend besteht."
On the back of the body, below the lower handle attachment is the tree of life with the words "glaube, liebe, hoffe".
There is no maker's mark, but it has been identified as a Dümler & Breiden product. Mold number 151 on the base.
