Shield of Sachsen-Coburg

An early pewter stein, dated 1814.
Pewter marks of the city of Dresden and of pewterer Johann Gottfried Rohloff (JGR), who was master pewterer since 1796.
Very detailed hammered and etched engravings all over the body and lid of this nicely patinated stein.
The main scene is a shield (Wappen) of a not yet identiefied family or institution. Or it may be the shield of the Herzogtum Sachsen-Coburg. Wikipedia-link--> [link]

The body is 17cm tall excluding the lid. The diameter of the foot is circa 13cm. The foot has a hollow base.
