A replica historic jug, produced by Reinhold Merkelbach in the early 20th century as part of a series of 45 reproductions of historic jugs. Reinhold Merkelbach copied originals that were in museums all over Germany. The original of this model came from the Hetjensmuseum in Düsseldorf.
This series has been produced over a long period during the 20th century.
