A cylindrical pitcher with handle and spout. jugendstil design, 3 floral panels. The design is by Albin Müller, who designed this jug originally for Reinhold Hanke.
Reinhold Merkelbach, however, also produced this stein. The example in the pictures is marked R. Merkelbach, 2522 and a capital letter H. Note the dot after the letter H, which indicates it is an abbreviation and not just a letter (you find capital letters on Merkelbach steins often, but usually without the dot). I expect therefore that this letter H with the dot refers to Hanke.
