The face of what looks like an Egyptian head stares at you when looking at this stein.
The decorations are in blue and brown.
The lid itself is of metal, and the tang and thumbrest are of pewter, indicating this example was made in the 1930's.
This stein was produced by Simon Peter Gerz, designed by Wilhelm Ratelbeck ( [link] ).
