A jug, designed by Karl Mehlem for Reinhold Merkelbach in 1926.
This model has also been reproduced in the 1980's. The images that you see here are from such a reproduction.
Note that the stamp on the base of this reproduction mentions the word 'jugendstil'. Since this jug was designed in 1926 it can hardly be described as a jugendstil design. The jugendstil era ended before the First World War.
