A collector's figurative porcelain beer mug "Stag with a monocle". The mug was made by the Schierholz manufactory in Plauen, Thuringia. The model of this mug has the catalog number 107 in Schierholz. This model was developed by the porcelain sculptor Edmund Haase in 1897. However, currently, no copies of this mug in the original design are known. Full-color reproductions with markings similar to those on the original products were produced from approximately 1986 to 1990.
The mug has a capacity of 0.5 liters. The height, including the horns, is 27 cm. The design of the "Monocle Deer" mug has a satirical meaning: the deer is depicted as an aristocrat with a monocle and a scarf tied around his neck.
The top part of the head with the horns serves as a hinged lid.
