The Master stein (275A)(see here [link] ) of this etched set depicts six scenes from the poem "Altassyrischï" by Josef Viktor von Scheffel. It involves students drinking at a bar called The Black Whale, when they can't pay the bill they are kicked out. Each of the drinking steins (275B) has one of these six scenes. This is the sixth and last of dthe drinking steins.

da warf der Hausknecht aus Nubierland den Fremden vor die Thr."
(In the Black Whale at Ascalon the clock struck half past three,
