Heavy glass or vase
From the collection of Paul Van Eck
A cut glass or vase, transparent and ruby red color. Made anytime between 1880 and 1950, I assume. It may originate from one of the many "Glashütten" in Bohemia, but that too is unconfirmed.
If it is a drinking glass, it sure is a hefty one, standing 16.5cm (6.5in) tall and with a diameter of around 12cm (4.7in). It weighs 950 grammes. If it's a vase, then the size is to be expected.. The glass is 6 mm thick.
Overall the glass is in very good condition. Only slight ware visible.
