The Smoking Hunter mug. This antique mug was made in 1888 by the famous Villery & Boch factory. It has a capacity 0,5 liters. In the Villeroy & Boch catalog, the mold of this mug is registered under the number 1530. The mugs of this mold were decorated with various subjects. In our case, the decor of the drawing in the Villeroy & Boch catalog has the number 580. The mug is decorated with an inlaid lid. The ceramic inlay features a stylized image of an Edelweiss flower, which is one of the symbols of Alpine hunters. The lid with such an ornament significantly increases the collector's value of this mug. Additionally, the mug's value is enhanced by the presence of an autograph by the artist-author of the drawing R. Buch. It is placed near the head of a hunting dog.
