The point of this stein is the custom lid. It's silver plate and features a kegul with three kegels leaning against it, covered by wreathes and with the initials S A T L A (order uncertain). The meaning of the letters is unknown. Quite possibly this was a kegeling trophy. See here [link] for the 235 with a regular lid. Recessed base.
