This funny little go-with is a cigar lighter, made in the USA in (probably) the 1930's.
The object is just 3.7 inches tall, including the lid. The electric cord and plug are of the type that was in use in around the 1930's (made by the company Bryant).
The object is made of metal. I assume it is lead, based on the weight and based on the fact that lead is a poor conductor of electricity. However I do not dare to put this plug into any socket! ;-)
The sides of the object have the words "Good luck" and "Here's how".
The base of the object is marked EBCO N.Y. and PAT. PEND. However, I have not been able to find information on that company or on the pending patent.
