Glass
Theresienthaler Cristallglasfabrik is one of the most or even the most prominent glassworks of the 19th century. The factory was founded in 1836 in Munich, and in the second half of the 19th century was a supplier to the court of the emperors of Germany, Russia and France. The factory exists to this day, and prices even for modern Theresienthaler Cristallglasfabrik products start from 200 euros. In this case, we have a mug produced in 1880-1900. Judging by the structure of the hinges, it is most likely 1885-1895. The tin lid and rim in the shape of an angel were supposedly made by the Munich factory Joseph Lichtinger & Cie., one of the most famous and notorious manufacturers of tin products of the late 19th century. Theresienthaler Cristallglasfabrik worked closely with this plant.
