Reservist stein named to Kanonier Beck who served in both the 2d & 3d Royal Bavarian Foot Artillery Regiments, Ingolstadt, 1911-1913. The stein was finished by the firm Jakob Maier, Dachaustrasse 105, Munich.
Pewter lid is designed as an adjustable artillery shell which unscrews and shows a prism. The stein originally had a Stanhope and although the magnifying lense is still present, the image has disappeared. The roster includes the names of 5 NCOs, 13 PFCs, 12 Privates, and 42 Kanoniers.
The lithophane has been damaged and has an old, poor, repair.
