A small historismus style ceramic beer stein, produced by the company Merkelbach & Wick. Model number 584 is faintly visible behind the handle.
This stein has a capacity of about 1/8th of a liter. Its height excluding the lid is a mere 9 centimeters.
The lid has a photo insert, showing the Trinkhalle in Bad Neuenahr. The Trinkhalle was built in 1883, and was demolished in 1934 [link] .
