The sticker on the base tells us it was made in Japan. Most steins made in Japan, including this one, are low quality massproduced souvenirs, made for the tourist industry.
They were made after WW2.
Most collectors steer clear of Japanese steins; they just do not match up to the higher quality German ones. As a result, prices paid for this kind ofJapanese steins are very low.
