Center-view is the city-hall and the name "HAMBURG" with mold failures in the letter B and two windows. Left side the new bridge over Elbe river "Neue Elbbrücke" is depicted, which was built between 1884 and 1887, modified in 1928.
On the right side the Bismarck Monument "Bismarckdenkmal" is shown, which was completed in 1906. According to the "westerwald Beer Stein Handle Gallery" the handle was identified as "JWR#57".Very weak JPT mark on bottom, no mold number.
Ornamental decorated historicism pewter pointed lid, tiny thumb-lift, small three-ring open hinge.
