Germany, Relief Bierkrug, "Elfenbeinsteinzeug", miniature souvenir stein, cream glazed stoneware with cobalt-blue background and details in dark-brown. 1/8 L capacity mark on side, no marker's mark but decor ( mold?) number on back side.
Identified by mold number 194 in the Marzi and Remy Catalog as "Miniature Souvenir" with various text banners (e.g. "Zur Erinnerung" in the catalog), here "Gruß aus Salzburg" Greeting from Salzburg. Handle identified as " MR22" as depicted in the westerwald Beer Stein Handle Galerie. Mold number stamped on bottom, Beerstein in perfect condition.
Ornamental decorated pewter pointed lid, shell thumb-lift and three-ring open hinge.
