Germany, Bavaria, Munich, Brewery Stein, so called Quart'l, salt-glazed stoneware with incised brewery logo and crown in cobalt blue. Capacity mark 0,25L on side, bottom stamped with marker's mark "R.Merkelbach Grenzhausen" and letter "D", some chips.
Pewter lid with cast brewery logo and crown surrounded by "KGL. HOF-BRÄUHAUS MÜNCHEN", old-fashioned mace-type thumb-lift, open 3-ring hinge and shank touch-marked with crown and "HB" logo, indicating an official licensed souvenir stein from the brewery pub.
