Was dreht hinter arm zaun?

"Was dreht hinter arm zaun?"

At first glance, the German phrase: "Was dreht hinter arm zaun?" has an unambiguous translation: "What is happening behind the shoulder of the fence?". On the other hand, the Germans have a huge number of idioms with a double meaning. At the same time, the plot of the drawing is based on the demonstration of the active curiosity of a young and inexperienced girl. Moreover, she is clearly from a low social class. Let's continue to build versions of solving the idiom. For example: "Don't keep a young girl locked up. This only increases her desire to find out what's "beyond the fence." It's important to understand that "beyond the fence" are events that are far from the puritanical values of the curious young girl's family.

This old German mug with a spicy ceramic lid insert is made in the "Tübingen igel" style. Dating back to 1862. This style of glass beer mugs gained popularity thanks to the student association at the University of Tübingen.

Blowing glass into a mold. A piece of work, unlike pressed glass. The inlaid ceramic insert of the lid has a lyrical scene with an inscription. This clearly shows that the ceramic insert with the girl looking over the fence was made to order for a specific customer. This highlights the uniqueness and originality of the item. It was produced before 1870.

The glass beer mug is best viewed in video format. You can watch a video about this mug at this link:
